Intercem Middle East 2023

The 2023 edition of Intercem Middle East placed a heavy emphasis on the practicalities of decarbonization and the future of the regional cement trade. As the UAE prepared for COP28, the industry focused on carbon capture, alternative fuels, and the large-scale integration of slag and ash to significantly lower the carbon intensity of cement and concrete.
