Global Ash 2022 focused on the evolving technological landscape of ash "harvesting" from legacy disposal sites. As the world looks for more sustainable sources of SCMs, the ability to reclaim and process ponded ash has become a major industry priority. The event featured case studies on successful reclamation projects and the technical challenges of dewatering and beneficiation.

AsianCAA contributed to the conference by sharing a technical paper on Ultrafine Fly Ash, as a substitute to Microsilica. The paper demonstrated the workability, strength and durability of M60 and M80 grade of concrete, and benchmarking against various materials such as Microsilica, Ultrafine Fly Ash and Ultrafine Slag.
