Dundee & Angus Convention Bureau partnered with the Concrete Technology Unit at University of Dundee to host the EuroCoalAsh2019 Conference, 10-12 June 2019, at Dalhousie Building, Dundee.
EuroCoalAsh2019 is an international conference concerned with the use of Coal Combustion Products (CCPs) in the construction industry in Europe. The conference takes place every two years, moving between different countries bringing together participants from industry, research and academic backgrounds.
60 papers were received from 18 countries, addressing a wide variety of subject areas ranging from sourcing and logistics, recovery and processing, to use of various ashes in construction, including biomass ash, and novel applications.
Rishit Dalal of AsianCAA delivered a presentation on "India as a Global Ash Sourcing Hub"
