Coaltrans India 2023 brought together the entire coal value chain to discuss the future of energy and industry in one of the world's fastest-growing economies. While the primary focus was on coal as an energy source, the conference increasingly addressed the environmental responsibilities of power producers, including the sustainable management of by-products.

AsianCAA participated by shifting the dialogue toward the "back end" of the coal cycle. The association shared insights on how Indian power plants can transform environmental liabilities into profitable revenue streams. By optimizing ash collection and processing for the export market, AsianCAA highlighted how India can become a global leader in the distribution of high-quality fly ash.
